There it is. Post your thoughts on this, so I can use them for articles about conservaton, on my blogs, with the hopes that we can change the way people think about wldlife habitat, and do to save it -  not just look at it.

Here are a few links that I think are important

1)Dec. 27, 2010: A controversial development project in Tanzania may be putting one of the last pristine environments on earth in danger. NBC’s Richard Engel reports  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40817595

"The Tanzanian government is moving forward with plans to build a public road through Serengeti National Park, despite conservationists' concerns that commercial traffic will disrupt the annual wildebeest migration and allow poachers better access into the park."

Now this is darn right wrong in so many ways

    2) The recent bird & fish deaths in Ar.

We must first decide if we aspire to "conserve" or "preserve" before this could be a productive discussion. I am aware that the subject of hunting or "keeping the populations in check" is a touchy subject with some people. This comment is in no way trying to start an argument or offend anyone but just a thought. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. Just bringing up the fact that there is a difference.
