Thank you Football, old friend. Sometimes everyone just has some bad days & needs to go to the time out room. Sometimes it's even better to use your reflection in the mirror or use a pet & talk out your feelings that way to get your frustration out. I do it all the time LOL. & No feelings ever get hurt. Keep on smiling. You know the old song,     " There'll Be Peace in the Valley"

Football, I was agreeing with you in wanting to watch for snakes.  But not all the time as you wanted.  That is not fair either.  But your comments have become very ugly and are attaching TR and others and should stop.  You have changed our opinion against you with this tactic.  Please stop putting malicious comments on the webpages.

WOW! Football put a lot of thought and time into this. I have only one question. Who decided that cats are not to be hunted, but deer, ducks, lions, tigers, and bears, (oh my) can be hunted. Did Adam wake up one morning and say, "I think all animals are to be hunted except these, and here is the list; Cats, Gold Fish, Labadors, Turtles, ....". If a tiger gets out of its pen in Hollywod and makes it to Tucson should it be left alone? It will be a feral cat. I know that is far fetched, but there have been cougars killed that were thought to be pets at one time. Is it OK to take out the cougar if there is only a threat to neighborhood pets, but not the tabby? God gave man the ORDER to be stewards of His creation. Thats means over earth and all living things, including the ability and necessaity to act on imbalances. If I see a feral cat, or even a snake, that is a threat I will take it out. Why take it live only to move it to become a threat to someone or something else. Should man allow the snakehead fish to destroy all GOOD fish before something is done? No! Remember, God gave us the inalienable right to speak and protect ourselves and what we have, our veterans and soldiers help keep it. So, I appreciate Football stating his opinion.

Ok, let me set some things straight. Our cam ops will look for and showcase every creature nature has to offer. This includes snakes, bears, deer, eagles, coyotes, bobcats, swans, and yes even a buzzard, as well as countless other animals. As the seasons change, the animal activity changes, and so does our cam ops efforts. When the Timbers are out, we'll try our best to locate and showcase them. If a bear is there, we'll showcase it too. We have a love for all of them. Sure, we have favorites too like anyone else, but our goal is not to push our favorites, but try to showcase them all. We are not showcasing animals for studies, but rather for our viewers. Some viewers will watch for study purposes, some will watch for the love of a specific animal, some will watch and enjoy everything, and, well you get the picture. Each and every person here comes for their own purpose and we try to cater to all interests.

Let me also say that we do NOT have any official moderator for this site as of yet except those you see listed as staff members. We do however ask for all of the USW family to help to keep things moderated and in line like you have always done. We want this to be a place that ANYONE and EVERYONE feels welcome to visit and hang out. We also want it to be family friendly. We have schools that pipe this in to classrooms for the students to learn. Here is where they (and everyone else) should be able to earn about animals in the wild, not about folks who are wild. While we do allow for discussions on the forum and for people to share personal opinions and views (kept clean and in order), we'd like for the comment boxes on the cam pages to be about what's seen on the live streams. We'd prefer no links posted to the cam pages except those for helping others with identification of, or learning more about, the animals.

We are sincerely glad you are all here. We have made some great friends over the past year and a half and we know we'll meet many many more as we go on. Let's enjoy seeing the best nature has to offer.

    Thanks,

    Bob

There is alot of things that was said that should not have been said. As for telling everybody where useewildlife is, I don't think it is a good idea, there are too many hunters who would love to have a white deer head mounted on their wall. Don't tell me they wouldn't and don't tell me that they meaning staff, needs to keep a closer watch on things, thats not always possible. I'm very sorry that you don't think feral cats should be taken care of, myself in my little town there are so many of these cats and my car is parked outside, paw prints, scratches, holes in my convertable top, really makes me mad, so if we could shoot them, believe me I would. I also do not own a cat because I prefer dogs. I don't think TR ment anything bad by saying snake safari, he often makes little jokes like that, you just take it the wrong way. If you don't like what someone is saying, then don't read it move on. As for watching a snake all day, no, time must be devoted to all animals, I know that the staff  look for snakes, but if they don't see one, then it is time to move on, thats what they do with the bears, if it's not there they move on. I think most of your comments about TR are very mean. So if you remove this thread, I won't be sorry.
