Thanks! I feel it's got a lot to do with the camera though. These days everyone can take a photo with the equipment that's available out there. Painting on the other hand ... that's a gift. I can't even paint a wall :-D |

My husband would cut my pieces out for me, then I painted them. It was very enjoyable but like I said it was a fad and when they stopped selling, I didn't know where to go with them! |

I have a friend that used to do tole painting, beautiful work. Now, she's a quilter. I used to do watercolors and still love the medium, but haven't done it in decades. |

I was buying whoite ceramic animal statues & painting them. My daughter got me started by getting me my fave anial. cougars. I have 3 wolves. 2nd fave animals, eaglesm otter, bear, deer, ocelot, foxes, & more in my menagerie, but walmart stopped selling the statues, & the other art store closed up shop. I got no space left anyway LOL |

I wish I still paintged in oils. I used to in my teens. wanted to be a commercial artist but wasn't allowed, then paints weren't bought for me anymore. No allowance. So I basically lost the talent till I started doing fluorescent posters for our black light. Some wou;dn't call it real art in the painting sence of the word. I haven't been able to come up with my own idea's in ages. they never came out looking as good as what I saw in my head. Ihave an album in my facebook of my "goodies" working on something right now too. 4th try on it & so far so good. not gonna rush it. do a little bit, wait till it's dark & can look at it under black light till I add another colour to it. For some reason any I wanted to put on this one arfera of wall I have never liked & it gets replaced by an older poster I've done over the years. I like changing them every year |

One of the first pair just chased a rabbit off! All the way across the point. The second pair were following the little one as it went ovet towards it's parents. I hope they would not hurt it. |

I believe that may be a goose family. I think I see at least two goslings there. IT is hard to tell because even with it zoomed they are hard to see. |

Something landed on or near the microphone, scared most of the ducks away. Geese remained. Call sounded much like a hawk, but sound distorted from high amplification. |

a deer and a coon here now. The coon just went off camera. All I can see of the deer is it's rear end! There it turned around. I think it is a doe. |

That was sort of funny just now. THe geese were eating. One of the geese over on the island decided he wanted them away. He started calling and then flew over to chase them off! LOL Did not chase them very far. He tried to rule from the island. Must really think he is boss. |

We have a spoonbill nest up about that high here. If it withstood the storms back in February, nothing would bring it down. Would be just the ticket but I don't think the spoons would give it up after all these years. |

Most of our winter eagles are migratory. We do have a few resident eagles here too. I'm gonna work on a nesting site here though. It will be a real longshot and a pretty big chore. I gotta good feeling though! BT |

Wendy, I've tried, I don't think he can help it, really. He does take a medication in the evening that makes him drowsy and he has always fallen asleep around 9pm every night. I just have to live with it! |

All frogs now Wendy. Different species of course. The bullfrogs range in tone, usually depends on their size. The bigger the bullfrog, the deeper and louder the call. BT |
